Barry Smith is a long established folk perfomer, well known on the Yorkshire folk scene. He has written much original material - several of his songs feature in the Mahogany Monkey set - including musical suites for concert performance. He has produced CDs of his own songs, has appeared on the radio, and also performs as a solo artist and with other performers on the northern folk circuit. He is an accomplished whistle and flute player. |

Richard Clay has played and sung in folk, rock, jazz and classical bands and choirs for many years, and written music in styles from folk to big-band jazz. In recent years the electric mandolin has been his instrument of choice, and he brings an improvising jazz approach to the band. He also plays in the band "Eclectic Sparks". |
